Lego Lovers

**FYI - There are actually 6 separate blog entries for today - just so you know :) **

For all the Lego lovers out there, I thought I would let you know of two really neat products they currently have....no I don't work for Lego, but I do have a 5 year-old that is in LOVE with them.

For Drew's birthday, we purchased a membership for him to Lego BrickMasters. With the membership every other month they mail you a new LEGO kit for a year (so six kits total). They are kits that have yet to be released in the stores. You also receive the BrickMaster Magazine with each kit. This magazine is 36+ pages of LEGO building ideas, sneak previews, comics, contests, special offers and exclusive BIONICLE® content just for LEGO BrickMasters. Plus a free BIONICLE comic books! With the Welcome kit you also receive two LEGO.com Shop Coupons and a LEGOLAND® California Admission Ticket (not that ours will ever be used...so hey, if you are headed out to California and would like a ticket, let me know!) Anyway, Drew is LOVING it and I imagine it will become an annual gift for his birthday - to renew the subscription.

The other item I just saw in the new LEGO catalog we received this week. It is the LEGO City Advent Calendar. I was thinking about doing some sort of Advent calendar with the boys this year to count the days until Christmas, and was excited to see this one. Each day the boys will get to open a new window and find a little LEGO minifigure or accessory. So they will end up with 24 LEGO city-themed surprises. HOW FUN!! I am also on the look out for a non-candy Nativity themed Advent calendar (maybe a sticker one?) to use as well - to help remind the boys of the TRUE meaning of Christmas....so if any of you know of a good one, PLEASE let me know!

Ok, that is it for my LEGO finds for now. :)

Ok, I just have one question...what is the fee for joining the club; I am SO interested!

I am totally loving the little votive cups...too cute! You are a good mom to make those gifts for your teachers; shows your true teacher spirit!

The BrickMaster club is $40. Which comes to just under $7 a kit....not too bad for a LEGO kit. We made it his main present for this year.

Oh, and if you Google "Lego coupon" you can often find $5 off coupon codes!
