Christian V. Update - GOOD NEWS

I received the following update for our associate pastor this afternoon:

"Today Christian is doing much better. He is breathing on his own and talking. The doctors are thinking now that the strep went into his kidneys and caused them to shut down which built up fluid in different parts of his body. His kidneys are now functioning properly (nice way of saying he is peeing freely) which is helping his body overall. The doctors are very optimistic about a full recovery with no long term damage to his heart or kidneys. The doctors are hoping to move him out of ICU on Wednesday and into a regular room for 4-5 days. They will continue to do some tests and observe him.

John and Janet would like to thank everyone for praying for Christian and there family."

And I acutally just heard from someone at church that he has now been moved to a regular room on the kidney ward and he has even eatten a little today! This is such wonderful news!! Thank you ALL for the prayers during this tough time for this family.
