When we arrived at the orchard, the owner came out and talked to them about a few of the many different variety of apples that they grew at the orchard and explained how they pick the apples.
(all 3 of the Pre-K2 classes are shown above - along with two of the teachers)
Then we walked a short distance into the orchard and each of use were able to pick on Liberty apple to take home with us.

After each of us selected our apples, we were able to tour the cooler where they are stored and rounded the visit out with a small piece of apple cake. Drew seemed to enjoy the trip, so it made me even more anxious to take to him to a big orchard next year!

And how about this! I actually completed a scrapbook page!!! The first one since Nov. of LAST YEAR!! Drew has a Show-&-Tell SPA (Student-Parent Activity) that is due next Monday. They needed to help make some type of apple food - which is why I had my mom make an apple pie with him while she was down here. :) So along with the recipe, he will show this:

I need to since I have a Year-In-Review book to still get together and printed before Christmas...which I haven't even STARTED yet!!
