LOVE My New Skechers!

I never got into the whole "Skechers" thing back when they were really popular. I'm now at the age where I don't worry about the name something has on but rather if I like the way it looks or not. So to be honest, when Skechers were at their peak of popularity, I never even looked at them...counting them as overpriced just for a name. Anyway, this past winter I was looking at the weekly ads from the Sunday newspaper when I noticed the CUTEST shoes! Boy was I surprised when I looked closer and noticed they were Skechers...but I should have known since they were over $50! I am usually a Payless shoe gal...not spending much over $20 for a pair of shoes (except my tennis shoes). So I have continued to look for these shoes over the past 6+ months and they are always around that $50 mark. The other day I got an email from Fashion Bug that they were having a big shoe sale and they advertised Skechers. So I hoped over to the web site just to look, but not expecting to see the ones I wanted on sale. I was very surprised when I saw they were...but they were still over $30. So I decided to surf the net and see if I could find any other coupons. I found and additonal 20%! So I was able to snag the cute little shoes for under $30!!! And MAN are they comfortable!! I LOVE them!! They have GREAT support in the heal (I am a heal stomper when I walk so lots of cushion is really good for me). Here are my cute new shoes!!

They are great for the summer because across the toes and around the back are a sort of mesh material allowing for some ventilation. But won't work for winter. So now I am keeping my eyes out for a deal on one of these other enclosed versions ;)
