Great Springfield, MO Photographer

I am finally getting around sharing the boys birthday photos. :)

If you are in the Springfield, MO area and are looking for a great photographer, please consider Lasting Memories Photography in Republic, MO. Karen is a very talented lady and is wonderful with kids! She had such patience with Drew during his sitting. He was in "a mood" and wasn't the most cooperative, but she managed to get some REALLY good photos. She has a great location in downtown Repbublic with some great outdoor locations right outside her door. We started with the outside photos and then moved indoors. These are my favorite 4 (of the MANY she took). I asked Karen if it was ok for me to scan in the photos (which has caused a little decrease in the quality) and share them here. (the above photo is SO Drew!!) After your setting, you get to immediately see the photos and place your order. We were there on a Saturday and our photo order arrived by Wednesday - VERY fast service!!

** Don't live in Springfield, MO.....
Maybe you live in the Houston, TX area? You HAVE to check out Debra Parker Design!! She is amazing and such a beautiful lady inside and out. I had the pleasure of getting to know her 9 years ago when we attended church together before she moved back to Texas. She is using her photography business to raise funds to bring their son home from Haiti. You can read more about their adoption journey on her blog HERE. I wish she lived closer so she could photograph my boys.

Looking for a photographer in Utah? I am not exactly sure where the talented Ms. Carol lives in the state, but I have seen her work. WOW! You would not go wrong by contacting her! You can find out more about Carol and her work HERE.**

Oh, and we also had Zach's birthday pictures done. We just took him to JcPenney. I have decided to spend more every 5 years and have good professional photos done of the boys on their birthdays. The years inbetween we will just go to JcP or someplace like that. I was surprised when we went to JcP this time that they now use a loose camera. What I mean is that it isn't a big honking thing that is mounted and they can only move up and down. They are now able to get any angle they want. Problem is, after your pictures are taken you have to wait 10-15min for them to load them to the computer and edit them before you can place an order. Made it REALLY hard with a 2 year old to keep him entertained that long! Anyway, here are some of Zach's bday photos.

Those are sooo cute! That's a great feature to be able to see them right away. I've been experimenting with hooking my camera to my laptop and then to the big TV... that's a lot of fun. But not so good for outdoor settings...

Hey, why aren't you taking your own kids' photos?? You are very talented yourself!

btw, thanks for the plug! (mtmstudio.com) ;)

Listen to you going on and on about photographers...

You didn't even mention yourself. I don't think you give yourself enough credit.
