I am really getting bad about dropping a little message here lately. My excuse this time is that Zach has come down with one heck of a cold. Poor little guys nose must be hurting now from all the wiping I have to do to it :( Starting yesterday he even starting runnning a low fever (just barely a fever...never higher than 100.9 yet) which has him uncomfortable and crabby. He barely slept Tuesday night or yesterday and last night was only a little better. So needless to say there hasn't been much free time for me to jump on here. No use even calling the doctor's office yet though, since it hasn't been 7 days yet they will just say let it run its course. I'm just hoping it doesn't turn into a sinus infection! (See what happens whenever I put one of my kids in the church nursery...they ALWAYS come down with something.) And of course he was kind enough to share it with me, so I'm pretty wiped out myself. John was nice enough to take him for a couple of hours before he went to bed so I could go in and get a little sleep, so that helped.
Looks like we won't be getting our floors installed this weekend. Our installer is still trying to finish up on that other project he is in the middle of...he is hoping to be finished before next weekend. I am SO ready to get finished with this and getting the house put back together.
Well, speaking of the little guy, sounds like he has already woken up from his little nap...and Drew has also woken up and gone right into one of his crying fits (gotta love it!). So off I go!

I can so relate. I'm finally getting over my cough and now my 6 year old is home with a fever. Who knows what it will turn into? And then it will be Jacob's turn, naturally. My kids are always sick more once they are old enough for the church nursery. The teachers do try to disinfect the toys periodically, but really, what can you do? Little kids are just notorious for using their fingers instead of kleenex... eeewwww!
