WOWZERS! I knew Zach was getting big, but had no idea HOW large! I just took him in and put him on our scale and he weighs 25 pounds!!! Drew was only a little over 23 pounds at one year - Zach won't even be 5 MONTHS until Sunday! CRAZY! And I know the scale is pretty close since Drew was 40 pounds...and at the last Dr. appointment he was 39.5 pounds. No WONDER Zach is already wearing 12 month clothes. LOL That has caused some problems in the clothes department since most of Drew's 12 month clothes are summer ones.
That is one way for Zach to take care of having to wear hand-me-downs...just eat so much you out grow them! I guess this also means Zach won't fit into Drew's cute "My 1st Valentine's Day" onesie (which is 6-9 months size) or Drew's "My 1st Easter" onesie (which is 12 months size...but is also still a few months away). Maybe I can squeeze him in them for a quick picture. You know me, forever looking for the pictures for the scrapbook pages.
Speaking of pictures....John is planning on taking Drew with him when he goes to the MSU college men's basketball game this coming Saturday night. They are going with a friend from church and his little girl (Drew's little friend, Peyton). Since it will be both Drew and Peyton's 1st basketball game to go see, I have given John picture requirements so I will have some to scrap as well as share with Peyton's mom...who is also a scrapbooker. Sure do like having a small camera you can put in your pocket for times like this! Only wish I had thought to send the camera with John when he went to San Diego. They had a dinner thingy at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (the original location for the real Top Gun)! So they got to see lots of cool fighter planes (I am sitting here oozing jealousy as I think about it - lol....for those that don't know I LOVE fighter jets...at one time had thought about being a fighter pilot....*sigh*). I got a cool sweatshirt out of his visit though. ![]()
