Tree is FINALLY down!

Yes, our Christmas decorations are FINALLY all packed away. That was how I spent last night...and it did take most of the evening. Thank goodness I didn't have more up than the tree and the stuff on the fireplace! The place where the tree has been sitting for the past 2 months looks so empty now. Now to just get all the boxes of ornaments back down in the basement and the figure out what to do with our old tree.

Also the swollen uvula was back to almost normal size by last night. So the re-hydrating and Advil must have worked - thankfully. I was shocked to find out SO many people have had the same thing. Couldn't get over all I found when I googled it. Since mine wasn't swollen enough to hinder breathing I wasn't worried about it, just annoyed by it.

Nothing new on the remodeling front. Hoping to be able to run and look at flooring at 2 other places later this week....then it will be decision making time. I found a web site Sunday evening that will mail you free smalle samples of counter top colors - so I have a few different samples ordered, but those will probably take at least a week to get here. I just can't wait to get started on all this!! I love the idea of making the house look nicer.

Well, Zach has waken from his nap and it is almost time to start trying to figure out what to do for lunch...so I better head off for now. Happy Tuesday to you all!
