Well...I am behind...

as usual The plan was to take down the Christmas tree this weekend and here is is getting close to 11 PM and it is still up! I thought I woudl get to it after I went to get my hair cut on Saturday. Only thing was I ended up deciding that I wanted to try and color my own hair (to cover up some of the grey since we are having family pictures taken next Saturday). I didn't go with a major difference, just a slightly lighter brown that helps the greys blend in. Then I thought we were going to go out to look sat flooring again...but Chiefs and Mizzou both had games which were being shown on TV, so that didn't end up happening. Before I knew it, it was late Saturday evening and the tree was still up. So I said I would do it after church this morning. As you already know, THAT didn't happen - went out to lunch with friends, then back home with the boys napping...then I had to get paperwork done for AWANA tonight...by that time it we needed to head back to church for evening service. After evening service we had dinner ...did dishes ...put Drew to bed and then I was just too tired to do it tonight. I am terrible...I MUST get this tree down this week!! Since it is a 7.5 ft tree that stands partially blocking our entrance area I think people would notice if I tried just throwing a sheet over it Besides I have a new tree that will go up next year so this one would have to come down because of that. Maybe I can get it taken down one night this week...when we are doing running (we REALLY need to pick out our flooring so we can decide on paint since that will have to be done before the flooring is put in).

We think we might being seeing a little of an improvement for Zach after being on the Nutramigen formula. He is definantly spitting up less, and I noticed yesterday that the rash that was on his chest is gone. He still has some eczema, but it isn't horrible. His fussiness has seemed tp increase though....and he isn't sleeping well (short naps here & there...and very restless at night). This might be teething though since is a MAJOR drewl monster right now and is really into sucking & chewing on things. So I think we are going to give this different formula another week & see how it goes. Oh a great note: Zach is finally tolerating sitting by himself more!!! *cheer* We are actually able to sit and eat without juggling him too (he usally will now sit in his swing). This is really good since he is really into trying to grab everything...include your plate It is amazing how good he has gotten at using his hands just this past week!

Not really much else here. I did wake up with a swollen uvula today (the little thingy that hangs down between your tonsils in the back of your mouth). I woke up the first time around 5:30 am with a VERY dry throat (was laying on my back & am sure I was sleeping w/my mouth open & snoring) and a feeling - sorry to be gross here - but a feeling of a wad of drainage in the back of my throat. This wasn't a surprise since I have been sneezubg a lot lately. I tried to get it out, but nothing was working - almost gagged myself in the process a couple of times. I was so tired though that I finally got back to sleep for a littke while. It started really bothering me again around 7am...and when I went and looked in a mirror I noticed a red, slightly swollen & slightly longer uvula that was rubbing against an enlarged tonsil. It sure is a yucky feeling - like you have something stuck in your throat all the time. So I sucked on a Halls cough drop while I got ready for church which helped a little. Been aggrivated with this silly thing all day though...so I did an internet search after dinner. Found suggestions to drink LOTS of water to re-hydrate it, take Advil to help reduce swelling ...and if it was caused by an allergic reaction, to take Benadryl. Since all the suggestions are pretty simple, I am trying them all. Just want the little booger back to its normal size!

So now I am off to drink another glass of water before bed and maybe try some cloraseptic throat spray. If we make any flooring decisions, I will let you know Hope you all have a good week.
