We went to Drew's swimming lessons this morning (which he did very well at I might add) and then when we got home, I put down for a nap and Drew asked to cut paper and draw at the kitchen table. A nice quiet activity so he doesn't make too much noise while Zach is trying to nap. No problem, he has done this many times. Or so I thought! I set him up and went in to check my email. A few minutes later he comes in with a funny look on his face and quietly asked for me too get him another piece of construction paper from the pad. No problem, again nothing unusal. He is mummbling something about cutting. So I stop and ask him to repeat what he is saying. With his head down, he holds out his hand - in which is a chunk of hair!! After inspecting his head, I find this>

Then after going into the kitchen I find this sitting on his chair
There was an equal amount in his hand. I guess I should just be thankful it was to his own hair and not his little brothers and his best friend's like someone else I know! *clears throat* *cough- me -cough*So after getting the hair and pieces of construction paper cleaned up, Drew asked for some applesauce for a snack. He quietly eats his applesauce without making a big mess even. When he comes into the living room, I ask him to go back in the kitchen and wipe off his face since there is some applesauce on it. So what does he do, he reached on the floor and uses the throw blanket to wipe his face off! UGH!! Thankfully it can just be thrown in the laundry with one of the many loads I need to get done today. WHAT A BOY!!

A little chuckle from yesterday - since I need to focus on these whenever I can :)
Yesterday, after Drew had is 2.5 hrs of sitting at the table doing school work (this is the time he should have been in class, but since we kept him home because of his behavior on Monday we spent the time working at home...."BORING" work as Drew put it ;) )...anyway, after the "boring" work, lunch and a nap I was working on a little craft project for Drew to share with his swim coach who he saw for the final time today (he will have a new coach when the new 8-week session starts next Thursday). A really cute craft I might add. Here is the finished project

Cute, isn't it :) ANYWAY, Drew had helped make the little sunflower and we had just finished putting them on the hat. Now it was time to fill it up with some snack size candy bars. I asked him to hand me a Snickers...I spelled it out for him and he looked through the mixed bag for one. After find it, he says, "Here Mommy. Here is your Sniffers." *laugh* Sniffers :) Ok, it is probably funny if you were here.
Well, I think I better go figure out what to fix the boys for lunch. Zach should be up soon (late morning nap today because of the swimming lesson). Speaking of Zach, he FINALLY got in another tooth! He now has 4 on the top and 3 on the bottom. I think he is getting them in even more slowly than Drew did...will have to look that up and see.
