My 4 Year Old

It sure seems strange to say I now have a 4 year-old! Drew official turned 4 about this time last night. His party with his friends at the Ted E Bear Toy Factory went very well on Saturday. They all seemed to have a good time "building" there little animals. Here are a couple of pictures (Drew looks unhappy in most of them...but he says he had a lot of fun *shrug*):

Drew spent the rest of the day playing in his sandbox and playing in his little pool with his Grandma (John's mom). It is one he got a couple years ago and I was waiting for the play area in our backyard to be finished before filling it. I finally decided he better get some use out of it and put it on the back deck. It is suppose to have sand in one half and water in the other. For now it just had sand in both sides. Now to just try and keep it out of my house! *cringe*

He seems to really like it. I even found him out playing it with his PJs still on the next morning.

Drew and Zach also spent some time playing in their little pool with Grandma H. (John's mom). She came for the weekend to help with Drew's party since John was out of town.

Ok, enough for tonight. I will try to drop back in tomorrow to update on the rest of my week/weekend. It was pretty hectic at times...especially since I found out when John got home from work Wednesday that the guy would be here Friday and all weekend to work on finishing up on the house remodeling. Everything always comes at once :) Night for now.
