Christmas Lights

The Friday after Christmas my parents took us out to eat for my birthday. The after dinner at The Pasta House, we decided to go drive through Santa's Magical Kingdom in Eureka - a drive through light display. What a perfect time to go through their light display! Since Christmas was already over, there was only one other vehicle going through at the saem time we were. But I think I almost enjoyed the free display we drove by later. An idividual not far from Santa's Magical Kingdom, had a great display set up around their house and they even had a sign posted inviting you to drive up their driveway to see it all. So of course we did just that

I will leave you tonight with pictures of some gorgeous ornaments my mom and I worked on over the Christmas holiday. They are really pretty easy to make! Just use a styrofoam ball, small rectangles of folded fabric, LOTS of straight pins, and some ric-rac and ribbon. It gave us something to do while we sat and chit-chatted.
