Every year I try to have John take a picture of the boys & I...which is always interesting trying to get them to look the same way at the same time. One of the few times a year I actually request to be in a photo and actually let John handle my camera ;) Since this picture I my hair has completely changed...thanks to Linda Sue (John's step-mom)...but anyway, here are a few of the Mother's Day pictures
and just FYI...my hair now actually looks like this
Thank you SO much Linda Sue for a great haircut! She rescued me for a HORRIBLE one I gotten from one of those no appointment places about a month ago. BIG mistake! I am SO happy to have layers again as well as no grey hairs peeking through thanks to coloring and highlights ;)Mother's Day evening at church, Drew's "Joy Bells" group put on a little mini-play. Drew was one of the chorus members and was on the top step of the risers. When they went to sit down, he and the other Drew in their group fell off the back! Thankfully some smart person had a bunch of the cushy choir chairs pushed up against the risers so neither of them was hurt. The other Drew was pretty scared and was crying. My Drew just got back on the risers rubbing his head...like it was no big deal. Leave it up to my child to fall off the risers :)

Anyway, John's dad and Linda Sue got in town Monday late afternoon and we kept pretty busy the whole time. There was lots of bubble blowing, swinging, walks and just plain fun.

Then on Saturday, we had a baby shower for John's sister, Rebecca, and her husband, Evan(the Aussie of the family), and of course my next nephew, Jake (due to make his arrival at the end of August) :) Since Rebecca LOVES the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, the theme was of course, baseball. Two of John's aunts were able to join us from the Hannibal, MO area too. After the shower we had dinner at our house and an evening of them all catching up.

WOW! That was a LOT of pictures I just threw at all of you :) So I think I will end this little blog with that right now. I should have lots of pictures to show you next week too since the guys are suppose to come work on our yard this weekend! Hope you all of you in the U.S. have a nice Memorial Day next Monday.
