Can't Wait to Read It!

My favorite christian author, Robin Jones Gunn, has just released another book in the great Sisterchicks series - "Sisterchicks Go Brit!" - and I can't WAIT to get my hands on it! I started reading Robin's books back in junior high with the Christy Miller series. If memory serves me, I received the book as a gift from my Aunt Jan. :) I was immediately hooked and anxiously waited for the next book to be published in the series. After that series ended I moved on to the Sierra Jensen & The College Year series even though by that time I was in college. I still loved reading the teen novels :) Then Robin published the Glenbrook series written for adults - WooHoo!! After finishing those I couldn't seem to find any new books by RJG, so I had to make due by rereading some of my old ones and subscribing to her blog so I would be notified as soon as a new one came out. With much excitement I have been gobbling up the Sisterchicks series & Katie Weldon books as soon as I can find them...and marking my calendar for when the next one comes out. I have to tell you, I absolutely LOVE the Sisterchicks series and long to take an adventure with a "sisterchick" some day. Or better yet, get to take part in one of the Girls Get-A-Way Cruises Robin does each year along with some other sisterchicks. If you are interested in some fun reading, but some that still makes you stop and think and reflect on your relationship with God, DON'T pass this series up! And with the Sisterchick series, you can just pick up which ever one you can get your hands on first since they don't really build on each other.

I like reading teen novels also. It's hard to find good clean novels nowadays. I'll have to check tese out.

Have you read novels by Lisa Wingate? They're pretty clean and entertaining.

If you want to read a real page turner, read Twilight! Don't let the plot description turn you off, I almost didn't read it but I was so glad I did!

Also, I still read Meg Cabot's books. She has others besides Princess Diaries...
