Yes, we ended up keeping Drew home from school Wednesday because he he didn't sleep real well with his coughing. By morning the coughing didn't have that barking sound, but he was pretty tired and cranky. Why set the kid up to fail with behavior at school. By mid-morning I was second guessing the dission of keeping him home. He was NOT acting like he was sick at all!! I got to wondering if they coughing could have been because I left the fan in our central heating and a/c blowing and windows open in the evening to enjoy the nice weather. Especially since my nose was a little stuff as well when I went to bed...but cleared up in the night. Good ol' fall night air just MIGHT have done it too him. He seems to have more problems in the fall anyway. He also never ran a fever. Since he was hardly coughing and had been ok during the day at home, we decided to go ahead and take him up to the Fall Festival at our church Wed night. At least it is all indoors (except the hayride). When we got there he appeared just as overwhelmed with all the people and noise this year as he had last year. He ended up playing very few games and spent most of the short time we were there just sort of wandering around. Of course I have to share a couple of pictures of the 2 boys in their costumes....Diego and Baby Jaguar (who did NOT want to cooperate for pictures AT all!)...

Yesterday wad Drew's swimming lesson. The really cool part about this 8-week session....he is the ONLY one in his class!! That means he is getting private lessons for really cheap. Plus his time got switch from 10am to 9am which actually works out better for us because then were aren't there during the time that is usually Zach's nap time. Makes it easier with having him there. Drew's new swimming teacher already has him going under the water a LOT more! Here is a little video clip from this Thursday
After swim lessons, we drove down by the park and through our neighborhood looking at all
the pretty fall colors. I think this is going to be the best viewing time for the trees...next weekend will probably still have some too. I just LOVE fall!! I especially love the burnt orange and red colors. My favorite tree in the area, hasn't fully changed yet...maybe by the end of the weekend. Hopefully it will be warm enough by tomorrow afternoon that I can take the boys down to the park and try and get some pictures of them playing in the leaves. That will have to happen after Drew and John get back from the movie theatre though. The theatre up from our house has their final fall free viewing. They are showing Shrek the Third at 10am and 11am. So, since Drew got his sticker at school today, he gets to go see the movie. We were going to take him up to HomeDepot for their little kid's class too (they are building pirate ships tomorrow)...but were afraid he might miss out on the movie. Hopefully we will be able to make the December HomeDepot class though. Sounds like they are really neat.Enough of my rambling for now. Hope you all have a great weekend!!
