Drew is FINALLY getting use to going under the water...and he even enjoys and looks forward to it now. (He might actually get to move up to the next level swimming class during the next session!) If we could only get him to relax on his backfloats and put his head back in the water. He HATES water in his ears so therefor he HATES back floats. His swimming teacher even had him diving in at the deep end today (from his knees...but still that is a huge thing for him)! WOW! What a difference just a couple of sessions with this new teacher have made. I'm sure the fact that it is one-on-one is helpfully too. Here is a little video with my Cybershot of one of those dives. It is taken from the other end of the pool and is a little dark since the large window was behind him, but you can get the idea.
After his swimming lesson, I took Drew to see the doctor. Last Tuesday (as in last week, not just this past Tuesday), Drew started this phlemy cough which gets worse at night, but he hasn't run any sort of fever. Since that was been 10 days ago now and he is still coughing and starting a little bit of wheezing, I thought it should be checked out. My obervation of the wheezing was confirmed and the doctor (not our usual one) even asked about a history of asthma. We left with a prescription for Albuterol to be given 2 puffs every 4 hours for as long as the wheezing lasts. I thought it was interesting that the doctor even made the RX for refills for a year. Wonder if he is thinking Drew might need it in the future for asthma. It will be nice to know it is available for the next cold that settles in his chest and makes him wheezy though (since that is where most of his end up). Or regular doctor doesn't give out meds very easily, so I was glad to hear she was on vacation and we would see a different dr. today. I have left a visit with her more than once feeling like I was just a parent who was overreacting. But after Drew's whole bacteria on the knee incident 3 years ago when we were told nothing was wrong, but we KNEW something was wrong...and thankfully kept pursuing it...I tend to trust my instincts a little more. Of course, one of the lovely side effects with Albuterol is hyperactivity....GREAT....just what he is needing - to be MORE hyper. :)
Well, sounds like I need to go put Drew back in bed again. He sure is fighting his nap today.

you have to trust your instincts. I remember how frustrated I was when my son was sick every week throwing up for no reason. I knew it wasn't just the flu. Finally the doctor diagnosed the CVS. Not that it's always something that unusual.
