Another Busy Saturday

First - correction on my brothers height. I made him 2 inches taller lol...he is actually 6'2" it is my dad that is 6'4" (and my mom is 5'1").

Anyway....
Yesterday morning Drew and I got up and heading out for our morning together (and of course I took my little Sony Cybershot with me). We first stopped in IHOP for some breakfast. Drew was pretty excited about going to the library, so he didn't eat much...just half of my piece of toast and a little bit of his pancake. (crazy face and all)

Then it was off to the library.

Drew was so excited about playing with the train table. I barely got him to stop at the librarians desk in the children's area to get his coupon book, coloring poster and free book. He was really happy when he first got to the trains because there was another little boy there. They played until the other little guy had to leave. Drew played a short while longer by himself and then desided he wanted to do puzzles (where there was a little girl playing). He went over to the little girl playing the puzzles and she immediately ran off to her mom lol. When it was time to go he did whine and cry a little, but not too bad. At least this time I didn't have to pick him up and carry him out kicking & screaming. :) In fact, he settled himself down while we were waiting in line to check out his books and movies.

The plan was then to run by Toys R Us to look at the wagons. I am wanting to get one of those plastic Radio Flyer wagons that has the 2 seats in them as a joint birthday present for the boys so we can use it to take walks and I can keep the 2 of them together. I had just wanted to see what they are like in person. Well, Drew did NOT like the fact that we were going to just go there and not buy anything, so instead I just went home. He was getting tired and crabby by then anyway. I figured I didn't want to deal with a melt down in the middle of ToysRUs. (I know - whimp :) )

After we got home, I headed to the office to start working on cleaning up in there. WHAT A MESS that place is!!! It has become a real dumping spot for everything since we can just clsoe the door. I spent ALL day in there... from when we got home around 10:45am until dinner around 6pm...then back in there after dinner until about 9:30pm...and it STILL isn't done. Just on my half of the room, I came out with 3 garbage bags full of paperwork, old 3.5" floppy disks and old software that won't work on the computers we have now! I didn't even touch John's desk or half of the closet!! I got stuff moved around and after we get rid of the 2 extra desks we have in there (anyone need a computer desk or older 4 drawer wooden desk ? - the chair to the wooden desk needs to be repadded and recovered) then we can move Zach's crib in there. Maybe that will happen next weekend. Also want to try and get to moving around Drew's room next weekend.

I also got two responses back for Drew's birthday party with his friends that they will be there *cheer* so at least there will be 2 other kids there. Since John will be out of town on business that weekend Zach will be coming to Drew's party after all. So it is going to be an even crazier day than I first thought :) I think I will see if one of the other moms will stay and help me out. If not - thank goodness for strollers! :)

Ok, I am still beat from yesterday so I think I might actually try and go take a little nap while the boys are sleeping. Have a great rest of your Sunday!
