Sickies

Well, I intended to write here tonight about opening our presents and beginning my yearly stollen making...but instead I am just going to make a quick entry tonight to let everyone know we are still here :) Right before we started to open our presents tonight (were doing it this evening since I planned on making stollens tomorrow evening and we planned on traveling on Friday) poor little Zach got the pukeies. :( I feel really bad about sort of trying to force him to eat some dinner toinght. All I can say....THANK GOODNESS we have wood floors!!! SO much eaiser to clean up!! And Poor Drew, here he was just wanting to open his presents. He was very good about waiting for us to get the mess cleaned up. When he finally got to start opening we got about 2 presents in and then we had to clean up Zach again so we missed half of Drew's opening. At least he seemed happy to get a new Leapster game and played with it quietly on the couch until bedtime. Now, while trying to comfort Zach as best we can through this yuckiness, we are waiting on pins and needles to see who comes down with it next and praying that the flu shots we all got might at least shorten it. :) And wouldn't you know, I ate a little off of Zach's spoon at dinner and then John ended up getting it by accident and used it too. :) So this also means we might actually be spending this Christmas at our house instead of with extended family. We certainly don't want to share this junk with you all!!

Ok, I need to go get a couple of things done while John has Zach. Here's hoping and praying this junk that seems to be flying around everywhere skips you all!
